2008-6-3 (3rd June) - High House Waste, lower-slope boggy area. A botanical walk with Dartmoor Preservation Association.

2008-5-29 - Trowlesworthy Farm, cist, leat, Spanish Lake, Great Trowlesworthy Tor, Little Trowlesworthy Tor, possible reave.

2008-5-22. A leaden sky for a visit to Hound Tor, cairn circle and cist (kistvaen), bluebells, Medieval settlement, Greator Rocks, Holwell Lawn, waterfalls, elusive boundary stone.  (30)

2008-5-8. Batworthy, Kes Tor (or Kestor Rock on the OS map) on Chagford Common, the Long Stone, along the Teignhead Road (Harvey map) north-west wall of Fernworthy Forest, seeing the memorial to a Royal Marine along the way, as far as the North Teign River near Teinbridge Farm to see the clapper bridge memorial to FHS again. The return was for the most part back along the same route but diverting to revisit antiquities on Shovell Down. This walk relates to the 2008-4-14_WaternTor.

2008-4-10 Finding more boundary stones across Haytor Down 

2008-3-6  This walk is really a short GPS exercise to find stones in the Haytor Down area marked on the map as boundary stones. Stones engraved, 6, BB, IJ, Prince Albert and Owlacombe Burrow. 

2008-2-18 - Haytor, Haytor quarry, Haytor Down, granite tramway/Templar Way, un-named tor(? but marked as a cairn), Black Hill, cairn, Duke of Somerset's boundary stones, gorse in bud, Rock Inn.

2008-2-11 - Venford reservoir banchmark, woodland track, 2 granite slabs, Lower Bench Tor, Higher Bench Tor, Venford dam, Venford reservoir. This walk completes an earlier walk that was curtailed on 19 October 2007 due to poor light, HERE.

2008-2-6 - East Rook Gate, boundary/leat, Penn Beacon, cairn, reave, Shell Top, Rosalie stone, River Yealm, blowing house, mould stone, Yealm Steps, second blowing house (across the river), Dendle's Waste, High House Waste.
